privately-owned Hume & Hovell Cricket Oval at Strath Creek (just one
hour's drive north of Melbourne) is the home ground of the Centurions.
Few cricket grounds offer the picturesque setting, ambience and quality
playing conditions provided at Strath Creek. Pictured below are the magnificent rose gardens surrounding the pavilion. Also pictured below is big-hitting Centurions South African member, Angus Lester, on his way to a quickfire 107 not out against the Explorers at Strath Creek in December 1999. |
